The Keswick Town Council who oversees the management of Fitz Park in Keswick, commissioned a study to examine the impacts of previous flood events and consider cost effective mitigation measures to return the park to normal use following flood events for the variety of stakeholders and park users.
Rubicon engaged with a variety of stakeholders (e.g. football club, cricket club, bowling club and park staff) identified the mechanisms of flood, provided practical and cost effective solutions that could be implemented by the park staff and the clubs themselves. A well received final report, in plain English was presented to the Keswick Town Council and pubic attendees.
Full lifecycle Project Management of the refurbishment of a derelict
building, starting at the planning stage and being completed following a
full-renovation of the building and handover for use as a commercial
group accommodation.
This contract included working with
architects during the design, grant applications prior to construction,
liaising with all utilities,competitive procurement of the main packages
and individual trades and management of the build during the
construction phase.
